London, UK – April 23, 2025 — ACE Sports Club, the UK’s largest Chinese golf community, proudly hosted the first ever 2025 London Spring Golf Invitational at the prestigious Melbourne Course of Brocket Hall. Bringing together more than 60 Chinese golfers from sectors including finance, technology, law, healthcare, and academia, the event celebrated connection, competition, and cultural pride.
This year’s tournament featured the popular 2-Ball Better Ball Stableford format, where players teamed up in pairs to combine strategy, skill, and teamwork. After an intense and exciting round, the Cambridge University Alumni Team emerged as team champions with a narrow one-point lead.

“Beyond the result, the greatest reward was engaging with such a diverse and talented group of players from across industries,” said champion player Bill Wang.
The event took place at the Melbourne Course of Brocket Hall, widely recognised as one of the UK’s most scenic courses. Designed to challenge both skill and precision, the course crosses the picturesque River Lea four times and famously features a ferry crossing to the 18th green, blending natural beauty with sporting excellence.

To enrich the tournament experience, ACE also hosted individual skill challenges including Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive, and Hole-in-One competitions. The event concluded with a formal awards dinner held in the historic Brocket Hall mansion—known for its appearances in film and television, including Pride & Prejudice. Guests enjoyed a night of elegance and camaraderie in a classic English setting.
Strong Brand Support & Community Impact

The event was proudly supported by a number of prominent partners, including Fantuan Delivery, VClub Whisky Society, RELX, Retail Technology, Bicester Village, Barton Real Estate, and CAS International Education.
“It’s inspiring to witness the growing strength and cohesion of the Chinese golf community in the UK,” said Champa, APAC Manager at Bicester Village. “We’re thrilled to be part of this and look forward to continued collaboration.”
